We are SO excited to be able to finally share with you our ready to cook Homestyle Soup Mixes!

Created using premium ingredients, each one of these mixes is easily prepared with the addition of a few pantry staples and some basic peeling and cutting of vegetables. We’ve used 100% pea protein as an ingredient, so each 2 cup serving of these prepared soup mixes offers 11 grams of plant based protein.

If you love soup, then these are a MUST try. It might be a few weeks before you can find them in your local UMAMI Crave the Fifth retailer, but in the meantime, order here on the website and we will happily ship them to you!

Hearty Vegetable
Homestyle Soup Mix

Full of flavour and good for you grains and legumes, this family friendly offering could be your new favourite vegetable soup! We suggest which vegetables to add but feel free to customize it to your liking. Simply follow the directions on the back, season to taste and enjoy. Each Homestyle Vegetable Soup package yields 12 cups with each 2 cup serving containing 11 grams of plant protein. What’s not to love?

  • Dehydrated vegetables (carrot, potato, onion, leeks, red peppers, green peppers, celery, cabbage), Organic quinoa (white, red, black), Green lentils, Red lentils, Brown basmati rice, Pea protein (pea protein isolate, protein isolate, vegetable protein), Cabbage, Sugars (natural cane sugar, molasses), Garlic powder, Onion powder, Basil, Citric acid, Oregano.

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

    1 medium potato, diced

    1 rib celery, diced

    1 medium carrot, diced

    3/4 cup corn niblets, canned or frozen

    1- 28 oz can diced tomatoes (with herbs & spices)

    8 cups vegetable stock or water

    1 tsp salt

Mushroom & Leek
Homestyle Soup Mix

If you love a creamy, savoury mushroom soup then you are going to be swinging your ladle with joy when you taste this one!

This an earthy and full-bodied soup made with quinoa, lentils, and rice, combined with dried mushrooms, leeks, and comforting spices. With the addition of onion, celery, leek, mushroom, stock and cream, this soup mix will create 10 cups of hearty, delicious soup that you won’t be able to get enough of. Each 2 cup serving (prepared) offers 11 grams of plant protein, is low in sodium and in sugar so you can feel good about that second helping.

  • 2 cups sliced cremini mushrooms

    1 medium leek, sliced thinly in half moon

    1 rib of celery, thinly sliced

    1 clove garlic, chopped

    8 cups vegetable broth or water

    1/2 cup cream or plant based cream

    1tsp salt

Thai Coconut
Homestyle Soup Mix

It is a rich and satisfying soup mix created with a vibrant thai seasoning, quinoa, rice, lentils, dehydrated vegetables and spices. Simply add a few pantry staples, 8 cups of stock or water and coconut milk and you’ll have created a delicious meal that you won’t be able to get enough of. An added bonus is 11 grams of plant protein in every 2 cup serving.
